This Privacy Policy explains how NRIMoney handles information when you use the mobile application and its optional Google Drive Backup feature.
By using NRIMoney, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
NRIMoney is a personal expense management app for users who manage income and expenses across foreign currency and Indian Rupees.
It helps users record transactions, manage categories, track budgets, review reports, and maintain personal expense records.
NRIMoney does not provide banking, payment processing, lending, credit, investment, insurance, tax, legal, or financial advisory services.
NRIMoney stores information that you manually enter into the app, including:
Income and expense records
Transaction titles, amounts, dates, and notes
Foreign-currency and INR values
Categories and budget information
Wallet, account, or payment details entered for personal record-keeping
App preferences and settings
By default, NRIMoney stores your data locally on your device.
Vidhan Technologies does not operate a server that stores your NRIMoney transactions, categories, budgets, or personal expense records.
Clearing app storage or uninstalling NRIMoney may remove locally stored data unless you have created a backup.
NRIMoney provides an optional Google Drive Backup and Restore feature.
When you choose to use this feature, NRIMoney requests access only to:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata
This permission allows NRIMoney to save and restore NRIMoney backup data in a private application-specific area of your selected Google Drive account, known as the Google Drive app-data folder.
NRIMoney does not request access to, read, modify, delete, or share your other Google Drive files.
Google Drive Backup is optional. You choose whether to sign in with Google and whether to create or restore a backup.
NRIMoney uses your Google account only when you choose to use Google Drive Backup.
Google sign-in is not required for normal expense-tracking features.
Your data is used only to provide NRIMoney features, including:
Recording and displaying personal income and expenses
Showing foreign-currency and INR values
Calculating reports and budgets
Saving data locally on your device
Backing up and restoring data when you choose Google Drive Backup
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
NRIMoney does not sell or share your personal expense records with third parties.
When you use Google Drive Backup, backup data is sent directly to the Google Drive account you choose. Google handles that data according to its own terms and privacy policies.
NRIMoney is designed to keep your expense data under your control.
Your local records are stored on your device. Google Drive Backup uses Google’s secure authorisation and Google Drive services when you choose to use the feature.
No electronic system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, Google account, and backup access.
Your locally stored NRIMoney data remains on your device until you delete it through the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Google Drive backup data remains in NRIMoney’s private app-data area of your selected Google Drive account unless it is replaced or deleted through NRIMoney’s backup functionality.
NRIMoney is not intended for children below the minimum age required by applicable law to use the app independently.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes in NRIMoney, legal requirements, or our data practices.
